Spent the day with my brothers, the Philippine Coast Guard and a Mt. Everest summitteer learning to climb walls and rappel down a 3-storey structure in so many ways: facing the wall, facing the ground, upside-down and from a suspended position. The course took us from basic knots and making your own harness all the way to emergency procedures and rope rescue. Had a blast doing the Spider a la Mission Impossible and trying to make it to the ground in one leap using the Australian rappel. A lot of stomach-twisting moments, fun and a newfound interest in jumping off buildings. All fear of heights gone at least for one day.
